Vacation Package Jungle Jaunt

Day 1: Get away from the stress of everyday life as you jump aboard a plane and fly into beautiful Costa Rica! You’ll land in the nation’s capital city of San José where you’ll be met by a My Costa Rica representative and will be taken to Hotel Alta, famous for it’s picturesque Spanish Colonial architecture, minutes away from the airport and the city.

Day 2: Wake up early in the morning and get ready for an incredible white water adventure through the rainforest as you go rafting on the Pacuare river! This river is world famous for it’s scenery and you’ll pass through pristine rainforests, indigenous reservations, through canyons and past waterfalls – absolutely incredible! After rafting, dry off and hop aboard your transfer to the famous Lost Iguana Resort near the Arenal Volcano.

Day 3: You’ll love the Lost Iguana Resort, located on a beautiful property surrounded by rainforest near the lake. Set up a canopy tour, explore the rainforest by horseback, visit the hanging bridges or rainforest aerial tram – there is so much to do in this beautiful area!

Day 4: Take a boat ride across lake Arenal over to the cloud forests of Monteverde. Check into the Hotel Fonda Vela, property dedicated to the idea of eco-tourism – travel in harmony with nature.

Day 5: Explore the cloud forest preserves of Monteverde or Santa Elena, zip through the rainforest canopy on a secure system of zip lines, or set up any number of activities in this tropical village. After a day of adventure you’ll be happy to return to the clean and comfortable rooms at Fonda Vela.

Day 6: Take an early morning shuttle transfer over to the beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio, famous for the incredible diversity of flora and fauna found here. Check into the Hotel La Mariposa, known as “Eden on the Ridge” offering stunning panoramic views and Spanish Mediterranean style architecture.

Day 7-8: Visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, cruise protected islands by Catamaran, visit the nearby mangroves – there are so many ways to experience this unique and beautiful area! Choose a day filled with adventure activities or just lounge out by the pool or beach – it’s your vacation!

Day 9: Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the local airport in Quepos where you’ll hop aboard a Nature Air flight back to San José for your international flight back home. Enjoy the view from the air as you catch a glimpse of Costa Rica’s majestic countryside and coastline.
