Luxury Family Getaway!

Day 1: Take a flight into Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaria International Airport where you’ll be met by a My Costa Rica Representative and a driver that will take your family to the Hotel Alta. This hotel is characterized by picturesque Spanish Colonial architecture and is located in the hills above the busy city of Escazu.

Day 2: A private driver will pick up you and your family and take you up to the Arenal Volcano, one of the world’s most active. On the way you’ll pass through beautiful countryside, coffee plantations and forests. Upon arrival you’ll check into a two bedroom master suite at the Mountain Paradise. The resorts large property features includes tropical gardens and overlooks the Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon, hike through the tropical rain forest to a prime volcano observation point where you may have a chance to see lava flowing right before your eyes! Then head over for dinner and relaxation in the beautiful Hot Springs of at The Springs Resort – absolutely incredible!

Day 3: Enjoy a relaxing adventure suitable for the entire family on a Rainforest River Float and Safari. An expert bilingual naturalist guide will describe the wide variety of flora and fauna as you silently float down this tranquil river. Make a stop at a local farm for some Costa Rican snacks before you head back to the your suite at Mountain Paradise.

Some Beach time in Manuel Antonio

Day 4: Now it’s time to head to the beaches of Manuel Antonio! Your driver will take you to this beautiful beach area, known for it’s national park and wildlife. An oasis awaits you at the Buena Vista Villas, where your family will share your very own two bedroom casita surrounded by beautiful gardens and with access to a private beach. Enjoy the luxury and privacy of a villa, with the amenities of a high end resort, including concierge service, daily maid service, three pools, rancho bar and restaurant. Day 5: No visit to Manuel Antonio would be complete without a visit to the national park. Hike through jungle trails to pristine beaches, but watch out for the monkeys – they’re everywhere!

Day 6: Hop aboard a Catamaran and cruise through protected islands that are only accessible by boat. You’ll have a chance to observe coastal wildlife such as dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles and more! Finally head to a pristine bay for snorkeling, the perfect end to your family vacation!

Day 7: Enjoy the morning at the beach and in the afternoon your driver will take you back to San José for your last night at the Hotel Alta. Set up a tour of the city or to an area restaurant, or simply enjoy your stay at this beautiful boutique hotel.

Day 8: Take a transfer to the International Airport for your return flight home. But don’t worry, you can always come back to Costa Rica on your next trip!
