Domestic Flights with NatureAir

AIRPORT CHECK IN

    * Check in is 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights. This rule applies to Pavas and Liberia Airports.
    * Check in is 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure for international flights.
    * Domestic flights are closed 20 minutes before departure, International 30 minutes before departure. To all passengers not timely checked in, will not be boarded on the aircraft.
    * Nature Air is located in Pavas Airport, 4 miles from the downtown and 9 miles from Juan Santamaria Intl Airport.
    * Photo ID must be presented at all airports to guarantee boarding.

BAGGAGE POLICY

    * One free bag is permitted up to 30 pounds per passenger, this includes your carry-on. No Carry-On baggage more than 10lbs allowed.
    * Bags may not exceed 64 square inches of diameter. Bags that exceed this will be subject to space and weight availability.
    * Nature Air is not responsible for left over personal objects in aircraft cabin.
    * Excess luggage will be charged at the airport.
          o $25 per additional bag or excess weight of the free allowance bag from 31 pounds up to 45 pounds.
          o $60 in case of two additional bags or the excess weight of the free allowance bag from 46 pound up to 70 pounds.
          o All bags that exceed 70 pounds will be charge has cargo and will be subject to weight and space availability.
    * Any excess luggage is subject to space and weight and may be put on next available flight.
    * Surfboards, Golf, Fish Equipment and bicycles are subject to space availability at airport at the time of check in, charges or fee for these articles is $40.00usd per flight.
    * Storage for luggage is available at Pavas Airport in San Jose only.

NON REFUNDABLE POLICY

    * Tickets are non-refundable.

CHANGE OF DATE AND FLIGHT POLICY

    * Changes in reservations are subject to a change fee commensurate with the policies of fare class purchased.
    * Changes fee are based per person in reservation.
    * Changes are not allowed within 3 hours of departure. Check with reservations at to be informed of space and flight availability.

CHILDREN FARES AND RESTRICTION.

    * Infants under 0-24 months sitting in parent’s lap travel free, but are subject to pay taxes and surcharges. When twins or 2 infants under 2 years of age are flying with one adult, one infant will fly free and the other one pays 75% of the fare and must bring authorized car seat to be seated in aircraft seat.
    * Children 2-11 pay 75% of the fare, children 12 and over pay as an adult, children flying alone only if they are over 6 years of age. Children between 2 and 5 years-11 month are not permitted to fly alone, only with an adult of 15 years old as a companion.

SPECIAL SERVICE.

    * All Costa Rican passengers flying international need 6 month valid passport to leave the country and Visa to Bocas del Toro in Panama only valid passport with a minimum of 6 month.
    * Wheel Chair is available only in Pavas Airport. Electrical Wheel Chairs are not permitted to travel in Nature Air aircrafts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    * All Fares are subject to taxes, airport services fees and fuel surcharges.
    * Please reconfirm your reservation 24 hours before departure time.
    * Passengers who are more than 250lbs of physical weight are required to pay 2 airfare seat rates. This is due to, aircraft seat weight capacity, and passenger comfort and safety, this charge should be done at time of booking. Or it will be done at airport on day of departure. 20% discount will apply if confirm thru reservation before date of departure.
Longboards and Kayaks are not accepted at all, do to space restriction.
