Your adventure to Corcovado National Park begins with your early morning van ride from the Dominical area to Sierpe where the tour will stop at a local restaurant for breakfast. Then we will board a boat for a 75-minute ride through one of the largest mangrove swamps in the world. This gives you an opportunity to see all of the animals that inhabit this fascinating ecosystem. These amazing mangroves are home to four species of monkey, crocodiles, snakes, and many varieties of bird life- you will see more wildlife in this brief boat ride then you can even imagine! As you exit the mangroves at the Sierpe River mouth, you will head out on the Pacific Ocean towards the entrance to the National Park.
Our adventure to Corcovado National Park continues as we exit the Sierpe river mouth and hopefully see Humpback, Killer and Pilot whales as we boat pass Drake Bay and the Marenco Biological Reserve. Upon arriving at the Corcovado National Park, our Naturalist Guide will escort you on a challenging three-hour hike through this 54,000 hectacre biologically diverse area.
