Beautiful Cahuita National Park

Spend the day enjoying the beautiful Cahuita National Park. You will be picked up in the morning at your Hotel in Puerto Viejo or Cahuita. In the small village Cahuita you will meet your guide who will start with you the hike through the Cahuita National Park. The park is known for its combination of white sandy beaches, coral reef and plethora of flora and fauna, including monkeys, frogs, iguanas, sloths, butterflies and many more.

Experience the local Flora and Fauna

The hike with a guide will take about 3 hours through the National Park. In the tropical rainforest you will be able to see many different animals and plants. When you reach a beautiful Caribbean beach at Punta Cahuita, there will be a break. This is the time to rest and enjoy a delicious snack of tropical fruits from Costa Rica. If you like you can even swim in the Caribbean Sea, just relax in the sun or in the shade of a palm tree. So do not forget to bring your swimsuit and a towel.

After the little break we will start to hike back to Cahuita. On this way you can again try to spot some animals in this protected area, which is one of the most beautiful regions of Costa Rica. Your guide can also tell you about the history of the town Cahuita. As soon as you are back there will wait a car that will transport you back to your hotel.
