Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro, an archipelago in a bay named Chiriqui, is Panama's Caribbean heaven. The bay has an array of coral reefs, mangroves, lush trees and white sands with rich marine life.




Panama Canal

Most people think of the Panama Canal as a modern endeavor, but the history goes all of the way back to the 16th century. After unbelievable riches were discovered in Asia, Peru and Ecuador by the Spanish, it was suggested to Charles V of Spain in approximately 1524 that a shorter route back to Europe was a necessity.




Panama City

Panama City, Panama has historically been an international crossroads. Founded in 1517, Panama City was the first European city built on the Pacific Coast of the New World. The Spaniards needed a location in which to load up all of the riches that they were plundering from the local cultures.




Boquete

Boquete, Panama has long been a favorite destination of both Panamanians and international visitors because of the beautiful scenery and plethora of flora and fauna that can be found! Located just about 75 miles from the Costa Rican border in the Panamanian Highlands, Boquete is a relaxing place to enjoy nature and discover the beauty of rural Panama!




San Blas Islands

The San Blas Islands are a group of over 350 islands located in the Caribbean off the eastern coast of Panama. With only about 50 of the islands inhabited, the area is also know as Kuna Yala after the indigenous people that have existed there for centuries.




David

David, Panama is the third largest city in Panama and is a center for the thriving farming business that can be found in fertile Chiriqui Province. A coastal plain city, David serves as a jumping off point for visitors headed to Bocos del Toro or the beautiful mountain towns of Boquete or Cerro Punta.
