Manuel Antonio Costa Rica

Welcome To Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio National Park is located on the Central Pacific Coast and has some of the most awesome Beaches of Costa Rica. It is definitely amongst the Must Sees of this magical country where nature is your host and you let yourself be transported by its magic. The breath taking beauty of the white sand bays, turquoise colored water and exuberant primary and secondary rainforests make out a unique landscape that attracts hundreds of people every day! The perfectly shaped beaches are also wonderful for swimming and for diving, while there are also many trails within the park to explore its hidden treasures.

Diverse Flora And Fauna And Unequaled Beauty

Visiting the park of Manuel Antonio promises wonderful surprises and awesome sceneries. It was declared a National Park in 1972 when the people of Costa Rica decided to preserve it for the future generations; it is after all one of the wonders of the world with the most incredible bio-diverse areas of the world! Despite its small size the diversity of its wildlife is unequalled anywhere else in Costa Rica, and it is home to some of the most gorgeous Beaches of Costa Rica. The magical combination of rainforest, beaches, hills, and coral reefs is almost surreal, and is teeming with wildlife too! Titi monkeys, white faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths, iguanas, toucans, humming birds and scarlet macaws are just a few of the 108 species of mammals and 184 species of birds that can be found in the Park. See the millions of tiny little colored crabs that seem to come from everywhere and the bright butterfly that seem to gently following the wind.

Best Beaches Of Costa Rica And More Adventure

Cathedral point was once a little island and is now one of favorite spot of Manuel Antonio; from there the views are magnificent, while the trails are not without their surprises as the white faced monkeys are particularly abundant! The little bridge that joins the Catedral is like a spine that separates two of the parks’ beaches, playa Espadilla Sur and Playa Manuel Antonio. Playa Manuel Antonio is probably one of the most famous Costa Rican Beaches; its perfect horseshoe shape and contrasting shades, dark green foliage, white sand and deep blue water, are really out of this world, pristine, untouched and ever so precious. There is however more to do than just admire the fantastic scenery in Manuel Antonio; its four beaches, North Espadilla beach, South Espadilla beach, Manuel Antonio beach and Playita are all great for swimming and snorkeling, and Manuel Antonio is also sometimes home to surf tournaments. You have white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, zip like canopy Tours, Birdwatching, sports fishing, etc. The little town of Quepos is actually a sport-fishing center with a worldwide reputation, and it is home to many bars, lounges and restaurants. Manuel Antonio is also home to the notorious El Avion, the Plane in Spanish! An old Fairchild C-123 that was a part of one of the biggest scandals in the mid 1980's, somehow finished in Manuel Antonio refurbished as a very good bar and restaurant!

Manuel Antonio Is For Beauty, Best Beaches And Serenity

I first visited Manuel Antonio 25 years ago and there were just three hotels to choose from. Today, there are over three hundreds of them, all top-notch affairs with the well being and satisfaction of the customers in mind. They range from the super luxurious with the Gaia Hotel and Reserve, the Hotel Arenas del Mar Resort and the Makanda by the Sea Hotel, to the High End Hotels with La Mansion Inn, the Hotel el Parador, or the Hotel Si Como No, and to the Mid Range Hotels with the Hotel Costa Verde, the Falls Resort, the Hotel Karahe Manuel Antonio, to name just a few! They all offer excellent standards and views, great service and food and are all rated as being some of the finest Hotels of Costa Rica. Let yourself be taken on a marvelous ride and enjoy the ever so tranquil and soothing atmosphere of Manuel Antonio.
