Luxury in the Caribbean

Curious to see what all the hype was about, I was happy to have programmed a site inspection of the most of talked about of the upscale resorts on Costa Rica's Caribbean Coast - Le Cameleón. This property is one area's newest and most luxurious hotels, breaking the mold of the more rustic bungalows that characterize the other properties in the region. The concept is quite unique and very modern decorated nearly all in white. Like a cameleon, the hotel transforms on a daily basis as colors of room accents such as pillows or paintings are changed throughout the property - really cool!

The Numu Beach Club in Cocles

Located just south of the popular beach town of Puerto Viejo, Le Cameleon is on the beautiful beach of Cocles and close to the area's many attractions. The hotel offers a fantastic beach club and restaurant where we ate lunch in front of the ocean on a sunny afternoon. The Numu Beach club and restaurant was stylish and modern and a great place to enjoy a meal and to relax near the sun and sand. Lunch was excellent and the menu varied offering guests a wide variety of seafood and international dishes.

There is so much to see and do in this beautiful area! Set up a snorkeling tour in the Cahuita National Park, visit the nearby Manzanillo wildlife refuge, take a shaman tour with a local indigenous tribe, visit a sloth or jaguar wildlife rescue center, see how organic chocolate is made - you won't run our of activities at Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel! After a day of exploration you'll love coming back to you clean and modern accommodations a fabulous pool. The on site restaurant occasionally offers live music and a is famed as one of the area's best places to eat.
