 After building and operating four hotels
in Italy,Alfonso Martino, the founder, arrived at La Garita de Alajuela
and discovered that it was blessed by nature, he decided that this was
the perfect place to achieve his life's dream. He has personally
designed the hotel, combining the elegance of European tradition with a
new sense of the Tropics, where flora and fauna mix in a climate
ideally suited for energy recovery and relaxation.
