Xandari by the Pacific Resort & Spa is a perfect choice for travelers looking for a luxurious beachfront hotel on a quiet part of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific Coast. The hotel is strategically located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio on a beach called Esterillos Este, just close enough to enjoy all of the tour attractions and national park, and yet just far enough to enjoy a beautiful, isolated, relaxing beach away from the crowds. Xandari by the Pacific is directly on the beach, with individual villas just steps from the sand and sea – a very unique paradise different from most other hotels and resorts on the Central Pacific Coast. Xandari Resorts are “green hotels” dedicated to sustainable tourism practices and protecting the lush natural beauty in which they’re found.

Here you’ll find 15 spacious private villas featuring large terraces from which to enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean or lush tropical gardens, private walled-gardens, sitting area, mini-bar, air conditioning plus fan and luxury amenities such as hair dryer and CD player. The generous bathrooms feature a mosaic-tiled shower that opens to a private garden. Each villa is a separate building with private entrances, designed by owner and architect Sherrill Broudy, with original paintings, mosaics and tapestries by artist Charlene Broudy.

The on site open-air palm-roofed restaurant fronts the beach offering healthy international and local cuisine. The hotel also features two swimming pools & a Jacuzzi. The open-air thatched palm roof pavilion restaurant and bar has sweeping views of the beach and gardens from every table. Featuring healthy, gourmet international and Costa Rican dishes, the emphasis is on fresh seafood and produce, with many fruits, vegetables and herbs grown in our own gardens. Here you’ll enjoy a very generous continental breakfast complimentary to hotel guests as part of the room rate.

Beachfront Villas

All Beachfront Villas feature private terraces with views directly onto the beach and ocean, private gated garden entrances, with private back gardens. All villas have mini-kitchens offering mini-bars, dishes and glasses, coffeemaker, and a selection of coffee, teas, snacks, juices and water complimentary. All villas are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a security safe, hair dryer, extra fan, telephone, alarm clock, CD player, desk, table and chairs, and chaise lounges on the terrace. Built-in sofas can be used as extra single beds. Villas sleep 4-5 persons.

Garden Villas

All Garden Villas feature lush, expansive walled gardens and patios that are very private and have areas for sunning. The villas are located next to the swimming pools with private gated entrances. All villas have mini-kitchens offering mini-bars, dishes and glasses, coffeemaker, and a selection of coffee, teas, snacks, juices and water complimentary. All villas are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a security safe, hair dryer, extra fan, telephone, alarm clock, CD player, desk, table and chairs, and chaise lounges on the terrace. Built-in sofas can be used as extra single beds. Villas sleep 4 persons.
