The Celeste Mountain Lodge is an amazing property surrounded on three sides by densejungle. Bordering the phenomenal Rio Celeste and the trails of the National Park at Tenorio Volcano, the Lodge is positioned between two major Costa Rican volcanoes. Centrally located just an hour away from the International Airport in Liberia, the Celeste Mountain Lodge offers a great location for basing your Costa Rican vacation from.

The Celeste Mountain Lodge sits on nearly fifteen and a half acres of green area and forest, providing visitors with plenty of wildlife and birds to enjoy. Toucans are seen daily and monkeys, tapirs , butterflies and an extensive list of birds have been seen on the property. Considered one of the last untouched and off the beaten track parts of Costa Rica, the Celeste Mountain Lodge combines the beauty of the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes with contemporary architecture and modern convenience.

The very innovative, modern design of the Celeste Mountain Lodge offers amazing opportunities to see the beauty of the surrounding nature from nearly every vantage point. With careful detail paid to every aspect of the design and construction of the Lodge, it is not difficult to see how the owners were able to incorporate the Responsible Tourism philosophy into their vision. The materials used in the construction of the Lodge combine the modern and the rustic emphasizing the refined creativity that goes into such a beautiful project. The restaurant offers innovative New Costa Rican cuisine and efficient, courteous service combined with awe-inspiring views of the magnificent scenery.

Celeste Mountain Lodge currently has eighteen rooms spread over two floors- all with great views, private bathrooms and designer furnishings. There are also accommodations and access for those with disabilities. Common areas include a reading area with fireplace near the covered gardens and unique “tropical hot baths” surrounded by beautiful plants.

The Celeste Mountain lodge is dedicated to the concept of Responsible Tourism and makes every effort to adhere to the concepts of “reduce, reuse and recycle”. Hot water for the Lodge is provided by solar panels, all wood used in the construction and decoration of the building is either salvaged or plantation teak and an in-house recycling and refuse elimination program help cut down on disposable waste. Those things partnered with an aggressive reforestation program and a multitude of other conservation efforts have made the Celeste Mountain Lodge a leader in sustainable tourism in Costa Rica.
