The Arenal Observatory Lodge offers a number hiking options, including a free morning guided hike through their trails and gardens, as well as a wide range of other Arenal tours both in and off site.

Accomodations at the Arenal Observatory Lodge

The lodge offers 48 rooms in four-buildings and the property itself has over 870 acres of private forest. Five rooms are fully equipped for disabled travelers, with rooms, bathrooms, hallways, parking areas and even the new swimming pool designed accordingly. Throughout the property you can feel the Arenal Volcano’s commanding presence. You are so close to the volcano, that when lying in bed at night you can listen and watch to the eruptions - all from a safe distance of course!

The meals at the Arenal Observatory Lodge are served in a dining room with a full wall of glass facing the Arenal Volcano.
