best location for a hotel at Drake Bay was selected by Drake Bay Resort
on a point of land at sea level. The cabins were built facing the ocean
with the jungle river at your back door. There is excellent swimming
and kayaking just steps from your cabin, as well as many hiking trails
ranging from easy to challenging, and miles of beaches for jogging.
Drake Bay Resort, the first hotel at Drake Bay was built owners Marleny
and Herbert. They have operated the hotel continuously for 18 years.

The cabins have comfortable rooms including queen,double and single
beds, private tile bath rooms, hot showers, ceiling fans, reading
lamps, and 24 hour electricity, and a front porch for relaxing after a
busy day. The river allows easy boat landing at the dock rather than a
beach landing.

All of the tours and boats are privately owned and operated by Drake
Bay Resort. Ocean View Pool! Warm ocean water fills the beautiful pool
located right at the ocean's edge. Lunch is available everyday at the
open-air poolside restaurant. |
The lodge offers free
laundry service with clothes returned the same day.Excellent English
speaking bilingual guides. The knowledgeable guides will provide
interesting facts and history about every one of the sixteen different
tours.
Fully stocked bar:
open-air bar is a great place to relax and watch the warm colors of the
evening settle over the bay. Guests also enjoy three tasteful meals a
day, featuring fresh caught local seafood, meats, produce, tropical
fruits (grown on the hotel's own organic farm) and homemade breads and
desserts.
