Pacuare River Rafting Adventure!

The first time we were invited to join some friends here in San Jose for a white water raft trip on the Pacuare River, we were excited, but had to go back to the US for our son’s wedding that week-end. So a few weeks later when some friends from the US were coming down to visit and said that they wanted to go white water rafting, we knew exactly where to go and what company to use. When I heard it was recognized as one of the top five rivers in the world by National Geographic I didn’t need to know anything else, I was in.

Safari Float Tour

The Safari Float Tour is an excellent choice if you want to get a close look to the mother nature, we go into a boat trip in the Peñas Blancas River in San Carlos, we begin with our tour and we start seeing animals at every side of the river like birds that you would never see in other places, I was surprised.

ATV and Canopy Combination

This is one of the best adventure activities you can enjoy close to the beach in Tamarindo. After an early pick up in your hotel they take you to the main office, so you can have some instructions on how to drive the automatic ATV which is very simple by the way!!

Catamaran Adventure

The adventure starts on the early afternoon, the pick up at the beautiful Tamarindo beach, is just the beginning for a trip that you won’t forget.

Costa Rica is the best place if your are an adventure lover or if you are addicted to adrenaline,there is a sport call Bungee Jumping, Basically is about going to a big bridge and jumping off, but is a lot more then that!

Lankester Botanic Gardens

Just outside of San Jose lies the Lankester Botanic Gardens(Official Site) – a place where you can spend a day outside and learn about the incredible variety of plants and orchids found in Costa Rica. Make a stop at the country’s most famous church, the “Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles” as you drive through Cartago on your way to this truly exceptional place.

Pacuare River Rafting Experience – Trip Review

The white water rafting is a sport where you can feel a big amount of adrenaline in a safe way,mostly because you are going with guides who live next to the river and have years doing rafting in the same river,so chill-out is not that dangerous.

Trip review of Bahia del Sol

It’s a beautiful place surrounded by nature in front of the beach. The hotel staff was really nice with us, they had great service and the food in the restaurant was awesome. It is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for nature and enjoy the beach without many people around you.

Surfing Costa Rica

Hello surfing community, I hope you are planning your trip to Costa Rica because in the last weekend we had a good swell with the perfect direction to the central pacific. And for the rookies, I’m going to give u some good tips, and don’t be afraid, we,tico surfers are really nice people!
